Harakiri Express — Pan-Asian cuisine in a fast-food formatHarakiri Company and KIAN have been strategic partners for the best part of eight years. This long-term professional relationship has led to impressive levels of success for the Harakiri company – in fact for many years they have been the leading company in the Novosibirsk market of sushi delivery and Pan-Asian cuisine. TASKA new phase in the development of Harikiri which envisaged the opening of a chain of stationary restaurants required the formulation of a strategy that would enable an online business to function effectively offline. SOLUTIONDuring the course of this complex project we devised technology and mechanics of a new format for the restaurant business, in addition to creating a brand name, a visual strategy for the brand, as well as devising an architectural concept. The concept of Pan-Asian fast food, encapsulated in the term “Fast&Fresh”, enables the consumer to obtain the freshest sushi and rolls, in addition to many other Asian dishes, in the desired quantity and at an affordable price, direct from the hands of the chef. The unique innovation of the project was the standard of freshness - 45 minutes, at the expiration of which guests could obtain all sushi and rolls from ready-made selections, at a 50% discount.Whilst working on the mechanics of the restaurant format and brand communications, it was determined that the main task was to become world-leaders in the fast food market and to become a benchmark of quality for visitors of this type of establishment.Large-scale work was carried out, including the development of a product range, a format of presentation for dishes, service technology, as well as external and internal advertising communications. Unique spatial solutions were implemented in the interior of this pilot project.
