A modern restaurant concept borne of the artistic reimagining of a traditional Eastern tea-houseThe exact translation of "Chajhana" is tea-house. The tea-house is a fundamental part of any Central-Asian environment, a place where tea is sold, together with traditional Eastern delicacies and sweets. The tea-house traditionally serves as both a social and cultural centre of life in Eastern countries: there, one can meet with friends or business partners, agree deals, celebrate special occasions, or simply enjoy a relaxed, unhurried conversation. The creative branch of KIAN worked for several months in order to create the Baranzhar brand of tea-house, the team consisting of specialists in the fields of strategy and creativity, as well as the architectural and digital departments of KIAN. During the work, a significant amount of cultural research was undertaken, which led to the reconsideration of a traditional Eastern tea-house, as well as the creation of a modern brand concept compatible with the tastes of the modern public.Baranzhar Tea-house is not intended to be an exact recreation of an authentic Central-Asian tea-house, and has thus not been decorated in such a way. Rather, it represents a new format that was built in harmony with a combination of the generous Asian soul, a colour palette and service standards associated with modern European tastes.KIAN designed the marketing strategy, devised the name, the architectural concepts and visual identification of the restaurant brand. The whole conceptual idea found its expression in the cozy and friendly atmosphere that harmoniously combines rich colours and warm textures with beautiful hand carved patterns and original art-work.
