In 2014 the company opened a completely new branch of operations, the production of milk and milk products. APU turned to KIAN in order to complete the full brand design for this strategically important product range. TASKThe comprehensive design of a new brand of milk products for the Mongolian market.SOLUTIONThe umbrella brand for the milk product was given the name "SAIN"; the translation from Mongolian means: ‘Good, kind’. The design of the visual identity of the brand reflects the Mongolian perception of milk products : the image that was created is modern, light, and technological, yet at the same time appeals to the ideas of nature and ecological harmony; cultural values that are deeply rooted in the Mongolian national consciousness. With these ideas in mind, APU chose to utilize the ‘Ecolean’ packaging solution across all of its new product range, a solution which is one of the most ecologically friendly options currently available on the market.
